This bush block of 19.4 hectares (47.918 acres) is less then 10 minutes walk to the delightful little beach known as Long Beach. The property is largely covered in She Oak trees with some scattered granite formations. The block is fairly flat with a little undulation up to the highest elevation in the corner closest to the airstrip at 30M above sea level. A five minute drive (under 3km) will take you to the local township, and only 3.5km to the airstrip via graveled road.
Cape Barren Island is the second largest Island (478.4 sq km) in the Furneaux Group and lies just south of the main Island of Flinders. Access to the island is usually via plane (on a regular basis) but it can also be accessed by boat (Bass Strait Freight, monthly service from Bridport) or by private runabout. Power is available to be connected.
Please note photos of beach and views of Mt Strzelecki are not taken from the property.
