Exclusive to Martha Cove Residents
As a resident come along and join the Community Hub, 140 Pickings Road, is a 2.5-acre property, owned by the community, that houses Cambridge management facilities, which handle the day-to-day & legal aspects of the cove.
On the premises, there is also an outbuilding that houses the 24/7 security team, along with all the cove monitoring systems, & on the far side of the property is the contractor's yard & shedding, for use by contractors working within the Cove.
The club is all run by volunteers (as is the Owners Corporation committee & all subcommittees)
The garden club has 55 beds, which can be leased for around $100/year, or you can get a social membership for less, which includes the many social functions the garden club puts on during the year. Presently there are 150 members.
The community hub is available for use by all residents, if they want a family gathering or a club function etc. & want the use of the BBQs & kitchen facilities all they need to do is book it, there's no charge. However, first in first served.
There is also a fishing club with significant membership within the cove, that regularly uses the facilities & meeting rooms.
The meeting room within the office is presently used weekly by the Coves Mahjong club, Arts & craft & Knitting clubs, & the local Yacht squadron often meets there. There's no charge but needs to be booked.
On the 24th of Nov. this year, there will be an open day down there, encouraging residents & other clubs in the Cove to come along and make more use of the facilities.
There's so much to do and become involved in within the Martha Cove and stunning Marina community.
