Attention : Property will be available for private inspection walk over on the 18,19 and/or 20th of March.
- This very unique and exceptional property has been owned by my family since 1965. Over many years the property has given us our love of swimming, fishing and generally a greater appreciation of the natural environment. But times have changed and it's now time for us to move on - so we are selling the property. It would be wonderful if another family purchased this very special location and created their own future memories for their children and extended family. This land can potentially be a blank canvas for you to create something very special Here, the whole extended family can swim, paddle, fish, catch crabs..., watch the dolphins go past(every day) ! This property comes with its own licensed jetty on the Serpentine River ! From the property by vehicle it's a 6 minutes into Mandurah's centre and 5 minutes to the Forest Highway's Pinjarra Roads entry and exit ramps and is also very commutable from Perth city. Or it's possible to travel by river and estuary into Mandurah.
- The property itself is 4 acres in area, has river frontage, and as stated has very own privately licensed jetty. Of the 2 houses on site, 1 is habitable but needs quite a bit of external work...., the other is a 'knockdown shack' - however the shack can be renovated/rebuilt and/or moved. We are asking for offers of around 1.1 mil - this reflects current block and jetty value only. If you are looking to invest in and/or create something truly special, in a rural and river setting, within an hour of the city..., this may very well be something worth considering ???
- There will not be another opportunity like this. Yes, as stated the main house fronting the Serpentine River, is a bit run down but has good bones and is still quite liveable.
- Houses; the main house has 'good bones'(double brick & tile) colonial style house(3x1). It is certainly liveable but is in need of some external TLC. The 2nd house is pretty much a 'knock down', however, it's still an 'un-condemned' house and as such it can be rebuilt ! It is much easier to rebuild/renovate an existing house than it is to get permission(impossible, according to Murray Shire) to build a totally new 2nd house.
- If you're interested to know more or to take a guided 'walk around' this property, please send an email enquiry to me with any/all questions you may have...., or leave a message here and I'll get back to you.
Regards
Malcolm
