Shrouded by glass, the design brief called for a strong interaction with nature and the extraordinary views across the Indian Ocean, the swimming pool and the neighbourhood treescape. Enjoyed from almost every room in the house, these views provide a stunning and ever evolving backdrop, from sunrise to sunset.

Open planning was also a key component to the design, with little segregation between spaces and very few corridors, encouraging a sense of connection internally. Benefiting from a northerly orientation, the home's floor-to-ceiling windows, high ceilings and external glass balustrades accentuate an abundance of natural light whilst providing uninterrupted sightlines to the views outside. Multiple living spaces provide alternative areas to relax and unwind, all while reminding you of this distinctly West Australian coastal location.

With a desire to create an inviting home, materiality was closely considered, incorporating as many high quality and natural materials as possible. Marble, stone, concrete, solid timber, stainless steel and glass, work harmoniously together, creating a minimalist yet warm environment. ComfortGlass is used throughout, ensuring enhanced thermal and sound insulation.

Not only designed as a well functioning family home, the residence is all about maximising lifestyle. Its free-flowing indoor and outdoor areas and multiple living spaces are created for entertaining, whether with family or on a grand scale. The resort-style swimming pool and spa is the home's focal point - its placement was a key consideration of the home's design. With a distinctly Mediterranean influence, the rear outdoor space features a grape vine-clad pergola allowing dappled sunlight, and a pizza oven for relaxed get-togethers. Whichever space you choose to enjoy, views of the Indian Ocean are captured at almost every turn.

Every day feels like a holiday in the generous and luxurious main suite.
