The Kingston Rest aggregation totals a land area of 7,070 Ha over 12 titles which includes 3,022 Ha used for the irrigation dam. The aggregation has an annual water entitlement of 20,000 ML, sourced from the dam on the property. 1,877 Ha currently irrigated for sandalwood production.
Agricultural production is booming in the Kununurra region as successive stages of the Ord River Scheme are developed. Cotton in particular is expanding with the Kimberley Cotton Company (KCC) developing a new gin in the Kununurra region.
Crops grown in the East Kimberley region include maize, cotton, mango, watermelon, rockmelon, pumpkin, chickpeas, sandalwood, chia and more.
Kingston Rest is accessible from Kununurra year round by 70km bitumen national highway. Kununurra provides for a domestic airport and transport hub, with the port of Wyndham within 80km also of the property.
