Lot FQ offers the owner wonderful views of Basil Bay and across the blue ocean to the mainland. The lot also has views facing to the north and east over Egremont Channel.
There is a reasonably level area for building then the lot slopes down toward the sea. This gives the owner the opportunity to build either one story or cascading stories down the block.
The island, like most along our coastline, is owned by the State Government who in turn has leased the development portion of Keswick Island to the developer for the island (the head lessee). The developer creates residential and commercial subleases therefore Lot CI is a residential sublease. An owner then becomes a sublessee.
Of the existing 153 subleases there are approximately 26 properties already built on. 9 permanent residents the rest are mainly holiday residences. The 99 year development lease began on 9/4/1996 which is counting down.
