The Fraser Coast is booming! The numbers are in from 2024's development. From $300 MILLION IN 2019 TO NEARLY $3 BILLION IN 2024, the Fraser Coast has seen development reach unprecedented levels.
Key highlights of 2024:
1) 1,000 development approvals processed
2) 4,453 building lodgements received
3) 1,130 new titled lots approved
4) $2.7 billion in building projects, including 987 new dwellings, 225 units, and 133 commercial developments.
5) $327 million in subdivisions, across 121 development sites including 10 lifestyle villages.
Looking ahead to 2025, major projects include:
1) The Queensland Train Manufacturing Program in Torbanlea
2) The Hervey Bay community Hub and library in Pialba
3) The Topaz and Opal seven-storey residential complexes in Shelley Beach
4) Expansions at the Moonaboola Industrial Estate in Maryborough
