As the crow flies, the ocean is only approx. 6.5km. It is about 9km to the nearest boat ramp on tidal Deepwater Creek; 10-15 mins will put you on either Wreck Rock Beach in the Deepwater National Park, Rules Beach or one of two boat ramps on tidal Baffle Creek.

If you decided to build, power is available along the front boundary and mail can be delivered 5 days a week. Rubbish bin collection is available and if you have children, the school bus is available out front for both primary & high school. Coles will deliver groceries and rates are approx. $1,100 per year.

Baffle Creek offers a general store with fuel, hardware & fishing supplies, a take-away, bar and bottle shop.
