Barra fry are grown in a large fully insulated nursery, with a 250,000 litre Colourbond Pioneer header tank feeding 14 x 500L to 9,000L tanks. The nursery?s in-floor drain directs wastewater from the tanks through a separator tank then flows via gravity to the three crayfish ponds.
With 3 earth crayfish ponds, each equipped with aerators and having large diameter outlet pipes allowing rapid draining of ponds for harvesting.

Beef:
Currently lightly stocked with a total 120 head Braham Drought Master cattle, with a maximum carrying capacity of around 230 head. The property is divided into nine paddocks with centrally located laneway leading to cattle yards. Paddocks fenced according to soil type and are well watered with concrete troughs supplied from a 12,000L header tank and bores. Pastures consist of Verno, Secca, Queensland Blue Grass, Eurocloa and Rhodes.
60% of property has been had cleared of Chinese Apple and Rubber Vine, a Caterpillar D6 bulldozer is included to complete the task.

The 4Kw standalone power system supplies the house, machinery shed and its lithium sulphide batteries also serve to back up essential aquaculture infrastructure. Whilst a 10Kw Hybrid solar system feeds the Aquaculture facility and cold room. Surplus power from the Hybrid system earns a return via supplying the Ergon Grid.
