New owners will love:
- A property that is well-positioned in the market, whether for a first-home buyer, downsizer or investor
- Renovated throughout.
- Large solar system, ducted heating/cooling and multi-functional swim spa
- Close proximity to excellent amenities, including shopping centre, schools, district club, transport links and bike/walking trails
Set on a spacious 424m2 block, the low-maintenance rear lawn is private and fully secured with high Colorbond fencing. The flat and expansive yard provides ample space for children and pets.
A 5-minute walk from Kambah Village Shopping Centre, chemist, Woolworths, post office, doctor's surgery, French patisserie, a variety of eateries, (including the famous Star Buffet at the Burns Club), a children's playground, and excellent transport options (with a bus stop nearby and Drakeford Drive just out of earshot).
Plus, this home is a short dawdle away from Taylor Primary School.
From the owners:
"This home has been very much enjoyed as a private hide away. We have enjoyed all the creature comforts of leafy surrounds with plenty of birds, views from every window, beautiful walks out the back gate and wonderfully soothing spa swims. It's been a real treat to gaze around at the trees and Mt Taylor at night while soaking in a warm spa, watch the stars and moon come up and listen to the birds settle in for the night.
We've also enjoyed fresh and arty rooms which are sleek and easy to look after. Many bar b que feasts have been cooked outside on the front porch - savouring the aromas but dining at the inside table - away from the flies! We've liked being very close to grocery shops for last minute fresh ingredients.
We wanted a townhouse with an accessible backyard that we could park a campervan and a horse float in and, after searching - for years - we found this house with double gates through the carport and car space. We then did extensive renovation. We were able to travel around Australia because we had room to park our camper. We were comforted by the fact that we could float our horse anytime as the float was parked in the backyard. Last but not least, the reason we moved to Kambah in the first place, it has the best agistment horse paddocks and riding trails in Canberra! ??
We are now having to move for family reasons but on reflection some of our best years were spent here in this lovely home. We will miss it!"
