The region also has many other artesian bathing and camping sites including the gold grey nomad winner "Charlotte Plains", Eulo Mud Baths, Yowah Springs, plus many more.

Bowra Sanctuary, a bird and wildlife sanctuary is located just out of town and attracts birdwatchers from all over the world.

The Warrego River meanders past the town, and is a fantastic free playground for everyone, the water hole next to Cunnamulla has never run dry.
