"Point Break", "Soul" or "Drift" ... if those words stir feelings deep inside, you must make an effort to take a closer look at this property. We are writing this, for you. This property will become home to someone that has the surf in their blood. It has been built, with pride a passion, by a man who lived his life in pursuit of the "Endless Summer" and to this day crafts boards in his workshop.
41 Emerald Drive, Diamond Beach NSW is "surfy heaven". In this "neck of the woods" you're surrounded by likeminded lovers of the Beachboys.
For the record it is not actual beach front, but it's the next best option, less than 100 meters from the foam and built with full appreciation of what a beachcombers palace has to have to be fit for purpose.
Location:
Diamond Beach, Seascape Estate, Halliday's Point and Black Head Beach. This is the Mid North Coast and you can smell the ocean and the roar of the surf is omnipresent, Multiple Surf Beaches, Bays Coves, Lakes and Rivers make it a raging coastal hot spot for surfing, boating, fishing, sailing and swimming. If that's not enough try the Tallwood Country Club International golf course just up the road.
Local cafes, restaurants, schools and convenience shopping are close by including Halliday's Point shopping centre and supermarket.
With Forster 15 minutes down the coast and Taree on the Manning River just the other side of the Pacific Highway, Newcastle is quite handy and Sydney just over 3 hours away. The location is perfect.
The property has a remarkable sense of Californian "beach casual". Established on a 750m2 near level block it has great street appeal and although near new, does not look like a modern monolith. That's because it has been built buy a master builder, for him and his family. It is not a spec build. It has soul and a deep quality feel about it.
Clever separation and design, especially around the ceiling stud heights and detailing, produce an amazing, spacious feeling, especially at the entrance with a spectacular cathedral style ceilings in play. There are 3 exclusive and private, entertaining patios, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, providing much sought after independence, and in particular, allowing for Air B&B income, if desired. In addition there is a beautifully appointed and spacious parents retreat, including having its own kitchenette. Finally under accommodation, it has a Separate Modern Studio with Kitchenette and Ensuite detached from the main building. Such a clever design
Notwithstanding the separation and privacy achieved, every independent accommodation feature, is linked conveniently back to the central, ground floor, alfresco styled, family friendly centre, that is the "beating heart" of the home. This flows literally from the front garden, in past the kitchen, dining and walk in, wet butlers pantry, to the warm and convivial lounge, that overlooks the open grasslands behind the home and the beach itself. There is a double garage and room for a boat or van to be parked off the road, and a large workshop and storage area. There is a wraparound verandah with Blackbutt timber flooring that ties everything in, and, for the return from the beach, an inviting and convenient, outdoor shower.
The property is very private but has 360 degree views including urban rural and Ocean. Peruse the list of features at your leisure and don't miss the quality fixtures and fittings including the kitchen appliances, the 40 mmm Stone bench tops and splashbacks, the tinted, double glazed windows throughout the whole property, so comforting in our climate disrupted world. Finally note the 2 x Scandia Fire Places complete with Pizza ovens.

NB:Vemdors comments on local surfing options.:
Diamond Beach:
A very surfing friendly beach when the prevailing winds are right. North Diamond (Also known as Back Saltwater) is a very good wave in North East winds.
Saltwater Point is a great right hander which works best in predominately SW to SE winds and East to South East swells. It holds a larger swell really well.
Next South is Blackhead Beach
Red Head Headland is at the northern end of Blackhead Beach. It protects the northern end of Blackhead Beach from North Eastern winds as long as they are not to strong.
Blackhead Point is at the southern end of Blackhead Beach it comes alive and works best in large East and South Eastly swells.
Further South we have North Tuncurry which is the Northern end of 9 Mile Beach and works well in off shore North Easterly winds.
The Southern end of 9 mile Beach is Tuncurry Breakwall and well known for its quality peaks and barrels.
Heading South it just goes on there are many good surfing breaks close to Forster and further South to Pacific Palms precinct (45 minutes away) are the world renowned Blueys and Boomerang Beaches.
Head North from Diamond and you have Old Bar where the break rolls over a sandy bottom, the waves are easy to surf and can break for up to 100 meters.
