Located just in behind the riverside town of Franklin, up a classic country road, this forested parcel of land consists of 6 acres (2.428ha). The entry to the property drops down to a small cleared area, with Prices Creek running along the edge. The creek passes through the property and is lined with beautiful ferns creating a lush environment. The clearing could be made more substantial with some clearing of willow trees and power is available at the road. The majority of the property is made up of gorgeous tall Gums and Tassie Wattles and an understory of a variety of native bushes.

Subject to council approvals, create a weekend escape or look at establishing yourself there more permanently. Be amongst the forest with your very own permanent creek. An old weir on the edge of the left boundary was once the main water supply for Franklin before they piped town water supply to it from the upper reaches of the Huon River. The weir is a lovely natural water hole now with a resident platypus and plenty of wildlife using it for drinking.

Franklin is a quaint historic town with a great choice of eateries and cafes. The main hub of the Huon Valley is 10 minutes up the road at Huonville, where you will find all your major shops and services.
