- This location has been my family's very private holiday hideaway since 1965. The land and river informed us and taught us to swim, fish and generally appreciate the natural environment. Times have changed and we now want to move on. This property could well be your 'blank canvas' retirement hideaway..., alternately it could provide the perfect place to create memories with your children. Here, kids can swim, paddle, fish, catch crabs..., watch the dolphins go past(every day), as the property is uniquely located on the Serpentine River ! From here it is 5 minutes to Mandurah's centre and 5 minutes to the Forest Highway's Pinjarra Roads entry and exit ramps.
- The property is 4 acres in area, has river frontage with its very own licensed and private jetty. Of the 2 houses, 1 is habitable and the other is a 'shack' and is a 'knockdown'(however this can be renovated and/or moved). We are asking for offers of around 1.1 mil and this reflects current block and jetty value. If you looking to invest in and create something truly special, in a rural setting, within an hour of the city..., this may very well be something worth considering ???
- There will not be another opportunity like this. The main house fronts the Serpentine River and is a bit run down on the outside.., but still quite liveable.
- Houses; the main house has 'good bones'(double brick & tile) colonial style house(3x1). It is certainly liveable but is in need of some external TLC. The 2nd house is pretty much a 'knock down', however, it's still an 'un-condemned' house and as such it can be rebuilt ! It is much easier to rebuild/renovate an existing house than it is to get permission(impossible, according to Murray Shire) to build a totally new 2nd house.
- If you're interested to know more or to take a guided 'walk around' this property, please send an email enquiry to me with any/all questions you may have...., or leave a message here and I'll get back to you.
Regards
Malcolm
